It is very difficult for me to read anything related to abortion. My heart breaks at the thought of what they do to those tiny babies. How people think that it is no big deal and that women should have the right to decide life or death. The depravity of man is more than I can bear most of the time!
I am perplexed with the thought also that so many people were devastated with the killings that happened in VA, yet millions of babies are killed and many could care less. It is a horrible thing that those people were killed, all murder is wrong. I just want to understand how one can be so tragic and shock the nation and the other gets swept under the rug. Why do people say that those students were just beginning life and then it was taken from them… is that not what happens when a baby is aborted?
I agree with Piper “I pray that ahead and behind of the de-legalization of abortion will flow waves of inner repentance as we awaken to the outrage of assaulting God’s image-bearers in the very moment of his knitting them together in their mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13). “
